The iconic Nissan GT-R is one of the most acclaimed supercars in automotive history and Nissan has unveiled the latest and fastest GT-R, the 2012 model, which will go on sale worldwide in the first quarter of 2012.
A first version which was showcased back in 2007 at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show delivered a total of 473 HP and the latest addition, the 2012 Nissan GT-R delivers an output of 542 HP, a 12 HP improvement over the current model. Along with the improved engine output of 550 PS (542-hp) and 632 Nm (466 lb-ft), Nissan also claims improved efficiency and an enhanced transmission “feel” thanks to a new shift fork arm, a firmer flywheel housing bearing and a new differential oil.
