Citroen is preparing to release the DS range collection in China and in the meantime they are also presenting the Numero 9 concept in this year’s Beijing Auto Show. It gives a hint on the new sedan and wagon of the future. This new vehicle will be added to the current DS line up. The styling of the said car was taken on the three models on the line – DS3, DS4, and DS5 which is premium sedan, SUV and Saloon respectively. This new plug in the hybrid vehicle is combining the 225 hp and 1.6-petrol driven engine. Its front wheels are powered by a lithium ion electric motor found on its rear which adds 70 hp.
The electric model purely, this impressive new Citroen Numero 9 can reach up to 31 miles. In just 5.4 seconds, it can go from 0 to 60 mph. The car can reach the top speed of 152 mph which is a standard to all DS models.
The new Citroen Numero 9 has a dimension of 4.9 m and 1.94 m. The car is featuring a great brake design and the good news is the fact that it still sticks to the sophistication of DS line collection. The only change is its new front end identity with a grille that flows through the LED headlights. Another impressive feature is the floating roof which is highlighted with chrome trim. With regards to the color, Numero 9 has a black exterior finished with stains of violet.
