This will of course have a positive impact on the coupe’s handling and speed. And when it comes to a design, the 2017 Ford GT looks absolutely amazing. It is very low and aerodynamical. There are two big air outlets on the hood, wide lower grille, front splitter, and a set of LED headlights in the front. In the back designers have added a fully active rear spoiler, round taillights, massive dual exhausts and a diffuser below them. The car rides on the 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin’s Super Sport Cup tires.

That means minimalistic design of the dashboard, an F1-inspired multifunction steering wheel with buttons and shift paddles, configurable digital LCD instrument cluster, another color display in the center of the dashboard used for navigation, and two integrated sport seats.

2017 Ford GT is going to be powered by a 3.5L V-6 EcoBoost engine with two turbochargers and direct injection, which will allegedly be able to generate at least 600 horsepower or even more, and probably around 500 pound-feet of torque. It is mounted behind the driver and passenger seats. A dual-clutch 7-speed automatic gearbox will transfer all the power to the rear wheels. A 0-to-60 mph time is estimated at about 4 seconds, while the coupe’s top speed should be more than 200 miles per hour. These are just guesses. We should learn exact details in the upcoming months.
